6. Network Decide on a strategy to increase your engagement with the outside world. Work out how much more you need to do to increase your social interactions and formulate a strategy. Decide how much time per week you are going to engage in new social events and work out how many lunches, dinners, coffees, events, conferences, reunions, wine tastings, football matches, tennis games, gym classes, golf days, etc., you are going to attend. Set yourself a target and measure yourself against it.

Get in touch with people from the past and make sure that you meet up, as you keep promising to do. Make the time for it and value it as a necessary part of business life.
